Two foundations.
One transformation.
The synthesis is Data Science.

◆ Born from Research & Data · Est. 2007

Most firms have one DNA strand — research or technology. DCx was founded with two simultaneously (Research + Data, since 2007), added a third (Digital Transformation, 2012), and built our practice at the convergence: Data Science.

DCx DNA Venn — Research, Data, Digital Transformation converging into Data Science
🔬 Research SINCE 2007

Substantive expertise. Fieldwork, KAP studies, public-opinion polling, indigenous peoples consultation, ADIC consortium heritage.

📊 Data SINCE 2007

Statistics & measurement. Sampling design, baseline/endline, M&E systems, survey methodology, indicator frameworks.

💻 Digital Transformation SINCE 2012

Computer science. Software, MIS, cloud, AI/ML, automation, mobile-first apps, blockchain — built to last.

🎯 Data Science TODAY

The convergence. Where all three strands meet — DCx's modern delivery model. Every modern engagement we deliver lives at this center point.

◆ The DCx Synthesis
Data Science is where
all three converge.
Most firms have one DNA strand. DCx has three — two from foundation in 2007, one added in 2012. Every modern engagement we deliver lives at this center point. That's our moat.

Blockchain as Digital Public Infrastructure

In June 2026, UNDP launched its Blockchain Advisory Group and framed blockchain as public infrastructure for development — drawing on 42 practical use cases across digital payments, identity, climate finance, traceability, public procurement and service delivery. The DCx Blockchain Initiative has been delivering against exactly these six domains for years — across our consortium, our sister ventures, and our partner ministries. We don't see this as a new agenda. We see it as a confirmation of what we already build.

▸ Domain 01 · DPI

Digital Payments & Inclusion

Inefficient payment rails are the single biggest tax on rural micro-entrepreneurs. The fix is interoperable, national rails — Bakong + KHQR in Cambodia — with an agriculture-specific wallet on top.

▸ Domain 02 · DPI

Digital Identity

Banks and donors can't reach who they can't see. Verifiable digital identity — farmer, farm, cooperative, processor — is the precondition for finance, traceability, and benefits delivery.

▸ Domain 03 · DPI

Climate Finance & MRV

Climate-finance markets need credible Measurement, Reporting & Verification. We sell independent MRV as a service — fee-based, transparent, and not exposed to credit-price volatility.

▸ Domain 04 · DPI

Supply-Chain Traceability

Weak accountability is the gap between EU demand for verifiable origin (EUDR, 2026–27) and Cambodian exports. QR-coded, blockchain-ready batch records close that gap — for cashew first, then coffee, rice and fisheries.

Inside DCx · FarmsNexus Trace
▸ Domain 05 · DPI

Public Procurement

Transparency in donor and government tender flow is a public good in itself. We curate a directory of authoritative procurement and consulting feeds — MDB, UN, bilateral donor, Cambodia portals — so the channels stay open and visible.

Inside DCx · Sources Directory
▸ Domain 06 · DPI

Public Service Delivery

Stronger institutions are the destination, not just the means. Live government platforms — NCDDS, MOI, CDC — built on the DCx stack are the proof that public-purpose digital infrastructure works at national scale.
