Cambodia's Integrated Agriculture Ecosystem

Connecting Farms.
Connecting People.
Connecting Futures.

FarmsNexus is an ecosystem company, not a software product. We integrate the digital platform, cooperative development, agribusiness advisory, the Academy, organic inputs, integrated farming, traceability, market access and data intelligence — under one roof, so a farmer no longer needs to navigate ten disconnected systems to run their farm.

◆ Inside the DCx ecosystem

FarmsNexus sits inside the DCx Global consortium

FarmsNexus is the integrated agriculture ecosystem company of the ADC partnership (ADIC + DCx). It works hand-in-hand with the rest of the DCx family — Solutions for AI/GIS, LABx for STEAM R&D, AgriTech for geospatial intelligence, CashEW for the agri-fintech rail.

Why we exist

Cambodian agriculture is fragmented — by design, not by accident

Farmers don't just need software. They need knowledge, inputs, finance, markets, buyers, traceability, business skills, advisory services and a community to belong to. Today they have to navigate ten disconnected systems to get any of it. FarmsNexus was built to fix that.

Despite two decades of investment by government, donors, NGOs and the private sector, Cambodian agriculture still runs on paper records, cash transactions and trust gaps. Smallholders lack books and plans. Cooperatives struggle with governance and finance. Buyers can't prove origin. Banks can't underwrite. Every actor pays the cost of fragmentation.

Most existing platforms make the problem worse, not better — adding yet another tool to learn, another login, another isolated system. FarmsNexus does the opposite: one ecosystem connecting nine integrated capabilities, so a farmer or cooperative has a single front door.

Our position Cambodia's Integrated Agriculture Ecosystem Company — not a digital agriculture software company. We deliver software, services, inputs, production, training, traceability and market access as one connected offer.
📒 No records. Most smallholders lack production records, bookkeeping or profitability data.
🏛 Weak cooperatives. 1,217 ACs exist on paper; many struggle with governance, finance and digital adoption.
🧾 No traceability. Export markets demand GAP, organic, EUDR; Cambodia's chains can't prove origin.
💸 Imported inputs. ~US$325M / year on imported fertiliser; no domestic production capacity.
🛒 Price-taker. Farmers lack market information and bargaining power; collective marketing is rare.
🔌 Disconnected tools. A farm-management app, a marketplace, a traceability tool, an extension app — none talk to each other.
The Ecosystem

Nine integrated pillars · one connected offer

The portfolio is structured around digital solutions, advisory services, production systems, market-access services and capacity development. Each pillar reinforces the others — platform adoption drives input and marketplace demand; advisory and training drive platform adoption.

Pillar · Community

FarmsNexus Community

The social and knowledge layer. Farmer and farm profiles, commodity groups (rice, cashew, horticulture, fisheries, livestock), knowledge hub, events. Free basic access, premium for advanced features.

Pillar · Organic Inputs

Organic Inputs Division

Compost, vermicompost, bokashi, biochar, liquid organic fertiliser, biofertilisers, biopesticides — produced domestically, distributed through cooperatives and regional centres. Substitutes imported fertiliser.

Production · Distribution
Pillar · Integrated Farming

Integrated Livestock & Aqua

Circular model — chicken, ducks, pigs, goats, cattle, plus pond/cage culture and fish-rice systems. Animal waste becomes compost; crop residues become biochar; the loop closes.

The ADC partnership

ADIC + DCx — field + digital in one organisation

FarmsNexus is a strategic initiative of the Analyzing Development Consortium (ADC) — a partnership of ADIC and DCx Co., Ltd. Two decades of agricultural and rural-development experience meeting two decades of digital and data engineering. A combination rarely found in a single Cambodian organisation.

◆ Field, community & institutions

ADIC — Analyzing Development Issues Centre

Cambodian development agency (reg. 2011) with deep field roots — rural livelihoods, indigenous communities, natural-resource governance, agricultural value chains, fisheries and cooperative development.

  • Grassroots research, M&E and participatory action research
  • Cooperative and farmer-group relationships across Cambodia
  • Government & donor credibility — MAFF, FiA, NCDDS, ADB, World Bank, IFAD
  • Long-running projects: CSLICP, LASED, ASPIRE, CAPFish networks
◆ Technology, data & platform

DCx — DataColabX

Cambodia's homegrown data-science, GIS and blockchain practice (since 2007). Brings the engineering muscle — software, data systems, AI/ML, geospatial intelligence and digital-product delivery.

  • Modular, API-first architecture across all FarmsNexus modules
  • AI/ML, GIS, remote sensing, blockchain-readiness
  • Enterprise data engineering & cloud delivery
  • Partners ADB, World Bank, EU — institutional procurement experience
The combination is the moat. Most platforms have software but no field. Most field organisations have presence but no technology. FarmsNexus has both, in one integrated team — which is why we sit at the centre of the DCx family alongside AgriTech (geospatial intelligence) and CashEW (agri-fintech).
Where we're heading

By 2035 — the national footprint we're building

Concrete, measurable targets. Less than 1% of these numbers in 2026, growing through three programme phases. Beyond financial performance, we target at least 50% women and 30% youth participation, and align with the SDGs (1, 2, 5, 8, 12, 13, 15).
