ADC Consortium is a formal partnership between the Analyzing Development Issues Centre (ADIC) and DCx Co., Ltd. (Data ColabX) — combining 14 years of community-embedded field research with cutting-edge data science and digital engineering.

Together we deliver world-class Environmental and Social Safeguards consulting for multilateral development banks, bilateral donors, and private-sector clients across Southeast Asia.

Our consortium is uniquely positioned at the intersection of participatory social research, agronomy, natural resource management, and digital innovation. Cambodia's upland provinces are home to twenty-plus indigenous communities whose shifting cultivation cycles are routinely misread by lenders' standard ESIA frameworks as 'land degradation.' DCx Consortium has worked these slopes for over a decade — alongside the elders, in the rotation plots, on the rainy-season mountainsides. The photos below are working field days, not stock images.

The burn-clear pattern visible in the soil is the start of a multi-year rotation — exactly the kind of land use that conventional ESIA frameworks misclassify as 'degraded.'
